Quniversal Stuidios?????
ooKayy so on Tuesday we went to universal studios!!! Due to malevolent memories deriving from past experiences of abhorrence, the trepidation always supersedes when faced with a scary ride. Thus, participation in high velocity rides did not occur :-( BUT we did ride thrice on the transformers ride where we move from room to room with these collossial immersive 3D screens which was so amazing; it was deffo worth the almost two hour queue consisting of surreptitious room after room. Like it was so good we went back at the end and did it twice again!!!!!! Thankfully qs were no longer peaK superfluous. The premise: you're situated inside a transformer which is in its car form amidst a night-time city. You find you become intertwined within the malevolence of the battles between the transformers but it's just the MOST exhilarating experience - although you may not actually be moving forward as fast as it seems, you feel the adrenaline you would feel when travelling at 1000 miles per hour amid a beautifully deteriorating city. Not sure whether the setting was supposed to be singapore or America bcus there were so many pretty skyscrapers :3 the best part is when you're being thrown around and begin to fall head first down through the skyscrapers and everyone's screaming supersedes my hawing and your life flashes before your eyes; you wonder: will you ever see another sun rise...?
So many won't get the chance to say goodbye,
BUT IT'S TOO LATE TO CONTEMPLATE THE UNQUANTIFIABLE INTRINSIC WORTH OF THIS MORTAL COIL
Soz Russian roulette is a v nostalgic song for me bcus it reminds me of when I was 12 near the beginning of year 7, around Christmas I think and my dad lived in our house and my mum and I lived in a village but then a few months later my mum bought her share of the house off my dad which was good and everything changed but it was good I guess despite the fact I missed our village house :-( the change was all for the best <3
Another ride we went on was elmo's spaghetti space chase!!! It was a v. emotive sorry with an equally intensive plot: a trio of grotesque, malevolent, malicious aliens had stolen the Sesame Street characters' spaghetti. Ergo, we had to - allegedly - constitute their rekindling so they could consume the food for energy. However, one was v. Dissapointed: I felt the v condescending and disillusioned when being made to feel as though I could play a proactive, omnipotent role in the story; ultimately, we were made to feel like no more than omniscient observers, riding on a set course.
Exclusive selfie - available on request for a limited time only - just for Georgerai bcus omnipotent God <3
Thereafter we stopped off at the hard rock café and there was nothing vegan so I just had a strawberry and basil lemonade which was v cool v fretsh v sweq and every Singaporean's accent sounds like James cage whites it's so funny hahahha
The view from my room is so perfect: below me there's a pool, then a path, then a lake, then more path, then trees, then lights, then skyscrapers & sky 🌱
That night it was wayy too hot to sleep so I just admired the view out of my window (actually I think 'wall' would be more accurate since the entire wall is just glass with a frame segmenting it into six divisions), watching the paths of a gentle stroller intersperse with that of a determined runner and wondering: how have they not yet evaporated in the hellish abhorrence of this southeastasian heat???????????????????????????
