Today's challenge:

Listen to those peregrine songs you've never heard but have never had the audacity to delete off your phone. Feeling nostalgic, I put the fame monster and born this way on shuffle and found I strangely loved some of her old songs: I found ' Scheiße' and 'Speechless' were my faves 😊

Old Money

'Old Money' by Lana Del Rey is the most beautiful song ❤️ Blue hydrangeas 🌈

Don't ever have lodgers.

Having lodgers is so poignant and sad. They come and go like they're so expendable and evoke enmity and prejudice when they're actually just innocent. But often they live sly double lives.  You come home one weekend and find an imposter in place of a members of your family. It's like a serial murderer just comes and assassinates someone in your family and tried to replace them like nothing happened. Really Rude. Thus, sometimes it's inevitable that I just hate them until I scare them away by staring at them from a dark corner whilst they're ironing. Lol good, poignant memories :-)  But the worst is when one does actually die :-( r.i.p. Wolvereem x I'll never forget you :-( I miss Reem :< she was only about 33, engaged, and liked x-men, hence the name Wolverreem :'(). Also her brother was called Lord Raf :')

I 🍩 like doctor who

THE INTRO WTF??? I miss the storm clouds and the lightning and the purple vortex :((( and the theme tune :( Smith's 2010 intro was the best :(( Equally, I  🍩 like capaldi: is he even Scottish??? I like the Scottish accents like on Waterloo road, but his I found indecipherable at times.  Also, I 🍩 like Clara anymore (despite the fact she was a borderline psychopath on Waterloo road): she was complaining capaldi was too old and crusty, however as much as i 🍩 like him, smith's doctor was much more decrepit & wrinkly prior to his demise.  Finally, I 🍩 like the writers: they're racist, the dinosaur was unnecessary, and the humour wasn't funny.  Also I thought sontarans were evil???? However, I must admit that I was in tears by the climax when Matt Smith called Clara :(. Y they do this??? It was just too painful. Like when someone dies and you thought that was the last time you'd ever see them but then they reappear and you don't even know anymo...

GCSE Results Day :D

Yay so here they are: 2 A*s in French & English Literature A A in Maths B in history 5Cs and a D in English language :{  Pretty happy considering I was expecting three bs, three Cs and the rest Ds  I was too scared to open the envelope I Elliott had to do it lol the qt :3  Slightly disappointed with the 5 Cs, but thiswas more than superseded by the two A*s in my two favourite subjects.  And miss Egan was so nice: she said she got my score breakdown and I got an A* in everything I did!! (Albeit I only did half the paper) and mrs Toppingshaw was bre kind also with both lit & lang :)). Also I was in a bre long queue to speak to the director of sixth form about retaking language and preparing the secretion of my tear ducts about my future but she saw me at the back of the q and pulled me out and smiled said that everything is sorted; I can do a level english lang :)))), which made me so happy since I was two grades under the minimum requ...

My worst nightmare became reality today.

My prayers: Don't swipe left. Don't swipe right. Do you really even need to hold it??? Please just utilise eyes to observe. Okay well my mum made me show the fam puppy pictures.  I trusted her.    She swiped left.  And this:  Ngl it could've been much worse lol anyway who doesn't have a good sense of humour when it comes to Spongebob? :P

Ok

The Delirium Trilogy

Since I'm too stressed about GCSE results day to even slep even - which is still SEVEN NIGHTS AWAY - I thought I'd share with you a benevolent trio of books I've recently read: the Delirium trilogy by lauren oliver, which consists of three books: Delirium, Pandemonium and Requiem.  BOOK ONE - 'Delirium' is a dystopian romance novel set in an alternative present. Bre Benevolent Novel. I think I felt every emotion possible whilst reading this; I was in tears by the book's climax where Oliver l eft us hanging off dat cliff of waterfall of tears. I  would say this was my second favorite book in the trilogy.  I found the amount of romance diminished with each successive book in the series. Ultimately, it's quite a good romance novel. Kinda like Romeo and Juliet and Twilight.  BOOK TWO - 'Pandemonium' - My favorite one in the trilogy! I found it was very cleverly structured: instead of cardinally numbered chapters, each segment of the book shifts...

This made me sad:

Image
So today I took my first step into the outdoors and witnessed the abhorrence of the garden. Equipped with my protective pink garden gloves, I noticed a fly was in the wrong place: it was crawling on the ground.  I picked it up, and to my abhorrence discovered that it only had one fully functional wing. Poor fly. Poor, poor fly. The psychological pain of no longer having the freedom to fly must supersede the physical pain of loosing the wing :( I've dreamed of flying and it's sad waking up and losing the power. Sympathies are avec. X  Thus, I now know to abide by spongebob's mantra:

R.I.P. Robin Williams x

I can't even believe it :(( I just hope it's one of those ephemeral viral hoaxes like when Spongebob 'died'.  Mork and Mindy and bicentennial man were my faves x
