Feeling morose?

Crying bc GCSEs? Resentful bc you have to waste precious space in your brain with core physics?  YouTube MirandaSings08! After realising revising physics in futile, I basically just spent an entire day watching her videos and am a better, more benevolent person because of it :-)

Mockingbirds "don't do one thing but sing their hearts out for us...

...that's why it's a sin to kill a mockingbird" I had dreamed of becoming a French teacher, or teaching English in France.  But because of Gove, je vais avec un no. Although useful, really languages are just how many words one can memorise.  Whereas, English literature indirectly edificates people with virtues that aren't taught, things that can't be taught.   knowing that whilst I'm monotonously repeating tedious words, in England people are being deprived of to kill a mockingbird is too abhorrent. I cannot begin to contemplate such a dystopian future in existence purely due to one malevolent dictator - Gove. Gove, I know your intention may have been to deter people from English lit, but for me you've done nothing but the adverse. Well done Govey :-) Mockingbird, a timeless classic, will  forever be taught, for it must forever be taught :-)

Is UKIP actually a thing

Or is it just a fallacy??  Green Party thou <3 :((

GOVE YOU SYCOPHANTIC BLUEJAY

To kill a mockingbird is probably the most perfect piece of literature ever created. To omit it from being taught would omit people of valuable values which aren't taught. Gove is depriving us from the core of the literary world; h e is eradicating them of a world a human just cannot live without experiencing.  If you're not going to be taught it, I'm sorry :(  I can't imagine such a ludicrously nationalistic curriculum where I won't be allowed to teach the best book in the whole world :(( If I can't teach mockingbird, then I'm not sure I want to teach... Gove I have one message for you: you're a nationalistic dictatorial bluejay. Want to condition the innocent to become xenophobic, bigoted, prejudiced people? Ok then... You may as well just ban an inspector calls then. Because Priestley knows the younger generation aren't burdened with the narrow minded, inflexible prejudices you obtain. There is hope. You're depriving the world of potential moc...

POETRY EXAM!

My favourite poem from our anthology cluster appeared in the exam today - 'Come On, Come Back' by Stevie Smith! Although completely different poems with little in common, I chose to compare it to 'Hawk Roosting' by Ted Hughes.  However, during the exam the thunder and rain became so loud to the extent I doubt anyone could even hear me laughing... Unfortunately, id left my window open; the rain seized my computer in an icy-amorous embrace :/\( Whilst waiting for the exam papers to be collected after the time was up, I decided to annotate the two poems for the year ten who will receive the anthology next year :3 The unseen poem was so sad :( aqa why would you make us analyse a poem when we can barely even read it due to how it provokes secretion from our year ducts, thus blurring elucidation??? Just realised I made up a new word in my essay: 'equivocable' :///

Poetry <3

Revising poetry is the only thing sustaining my sanity after the abhorrence of today's lit exam... Honestly, I would sell my hair to re-do today (with foreknowledge, of course). 😰 Upon seeing the questions, I literally spent ten minutes crying, and a subsequent ten minutes deciding which question to choose :////:

Happy Birthday Georgerai 🌷

Revision Posters

Image
Ah... What does one do with all my obsolete revision posters now I've taken the exams :(((. I should sell them lol

Aced the French Exam :D

Well... 'Aced' if you minus the a and the c and the d, thus leaving only the 'E' remaining.  Oh, well... It's not like I'm gonna be doing french for the rest of my life/ uni/ career. Feeling so pessimistic after such an abhorrent exam, j'ai décide de dormir malgré que j'ai un biology exam tomorrow :-)

My teeth <3

Image
Upon the termination of my orthodontic treatment, everyone's initial reaction to my ludicrously superflous smiling was "did you get your teeth whitened?" When revealing the revelation that I'd had my braces removed, some didn't even realise ever had them. Sorry but how can one not notice????  I love my orthodontist :3

Performed my first GCSE Exam on Tuesday - Legal Weapon. It constituted 40% of my final grade. I have never felt relief quite like that of knowing I would never have to do drama again. (Well, bar when you drop your phone whilst walking and your headphones save it/ you)  With hindsight, GCSE Drama was a mistake; I would not recommend it.  You could say it changes people; you could say it doesn't. Perhaps it just exploits the abhorrent truth - myself included. Personally, I spent the entire two year course jealous, spiteful, unappreciative and vindictive...yet only now, now it's all over, do I realise I was lucky to have what I had :(  Although, it was fun in my performance when I did a turbine whirl and died :)))
