Snow Wonder
Hello if you're reading this welcome to the new and improved blog and congratulations for I have divulged this clandestine affair that is this new url
After everything we've been through toghether I figured I needed a fresh start to reflect my current state so say hello to snow prints in the sand
The inspiration came from the song 'footprints' by the Sia queen but with a Snowsephinic twist: the snow, ofc, alludes to my lost snow queen and how I will forever see her as long as I know the snowclouds eclipse me and make me fuquen vitamin D deficient yeah lol idk if I told you but bc I never leave my house my vitamin D levels were about 10 (v v v severely low) so I had to take 50,000 units of it a week for a few months and it shot up to like 100??? I feel there is a deeper message to this deficiency though but I just cannot solve :( also notice the surreptitious pathetic fallacy with the snow representing the coldness of my soul, in contrast to the sand which is associated with the sun and beaches so maybe this is saying how I'm treading on the waters of solidification and liquefaction and how I'm so close yet so far
The 'print' pretty much alludes to the imprint my blog will forever leave on the cages of your soul and the scars that will scrape your heart and stay there forever but tbh it really just continues the snowsephine motif which links to the paradoxical imagery of the snow prints in the sand because sand does not retain the imprints like snow does paralleling how paradoxically, my snow queen's death perpetuated her existence, even though I will never feel the print of her paw or see her step into the snow and realise she's not as white as I thought she was
OKAY so guys twenty three days ago we saw Oh Wonder!! After a strange day at school with a sassy lady teaching us how to squash our ants (automatic negative thoughts) one was prepared to voyage to Birmingham and was literally just about to step out of the house but thankfully the georgerai god king messaged me to make sure I remembered by ticket and I was literally just about to leave and completely forgot so <3<3<3 thanq lol so I arrived at the train station and walked up the stairs and passed the glassy facade and phoned the georgerai to inform him of my arrival and after waiting he called me back to descend the stairs and I did but like a pair of parallel lines that know they're so close but never reach and continue forever we couldn't find each other :(((:(:(:(:( so we were on the phone trying to locate eachother and I was going the wrong way lol and georgerai said he could see me so I turned and it was the happiest moment of my life <3<3<3 we exchanged compliments of our sweggy aesthetics and our excitement of trains and once inside I finally met charlotte!!! as we hugged she informed me 'I'm charlotte!!!!' and I said 'I'm Raf!!!!' and she handed me the train tickets but I only took one lol awk but then I realised I needed both and took the other why do I do the things \I/ and we walked upstairs and georgerai was like 'we all have the same (pedophillic) orthodontist!!!!!' and charlotte said my teeth looked fabulous <3 so we got on the train and it was too squinchy at first but then people left so we sat in the corner but there was this scary guy opposite the georgerai staring :/:/:/ perpetual staring :/:/:/ this happened at miranda sings too lol ok so charlotte and I bonded over the darkness of our nails and its echoing of our souls and I asked georgerai if we could do a faceswap for the yearbook:
we spoke of many things ranging from my gender ambiguous lizard to snakes of year 13 so if you think about it really all it consisted of was reptilian related
Once we arrived at Birmingham we walked past the gothic spire of the cathedral in search of five guys and found our way through the bullring in this cray store which was literally like red hot world buffet (rip) in fashion form bc there was like john lewis in one section and then like primark sitated right next to it???? if this place was a literary technique it would be an oxymoronic juxtaposition
v oriental imagery kind of reminded me of singapore <3
We found five guys and charlotte ordered and secured a table whilst georgerai and I ordered together and waited and there were free peanuts!!!!!! so georgerai snapped up a few and once the food and waters had arrived we went to search for charlotte and we saw a blonde shoulder length bob and began to approach until we realised it was not the charlypie!!!! But we went up and found the correct one haha but guys you gotta go there for the fries bc they give you a cup and then basically overflow it with chips like half the paper bag they come in is filled with them lol ?????
Then we checked le twitter and saw oh wonder were literally just at this vegetarian place called the Warehouse cafe WHICH WE WALKED PAST LOOKING FOR FIVE GUYS and I always lived by the doctrine that I shouldnt tell people to be vegan bc when people tell me I should eat animals I am saddened by their impertinent audacity hence I considered myself a surreptitious vegan but not anymore guys bc veganism = meeting anthony and josephine wonder and probably all the other pretty lowkey transcendentalist singers so \I/
When georgerai left to refill charlotte said to me 'you like lady gaga right????' and I was just like 'OH MY GOD YES QUEEN SLAY YOU WENT TO ARTRAVVVVVEEEEEE IM SO JEALOUS' and she said it was the best night of her life and this boy through a note onto the stage thanking GaGa for inspiring him to come out and she read it and let him come up onto the stage and to this day not going to ARTRAVE is the biggest regret of my life but then I remembered ARTRAVE triggered the downfall of my life bc if GaGa hadn't have toured ARTPOP our nice lodger (who was like besties with GaGa's parents lol) wouldn't have left and then the evil german lodger wouldnt have ruined my life and caused the renegade to subvert the innocence and amrine wouldn't have left so soon and I am a strong believer in the butterfly effect so \|/ how could you do this to me mother monster how could you do \|/
Anyway this was a beautiful moment bc charlotte and (except for sia being my god) we discovered we literally have the same music taste!! so yeah we're gonna see LG5 tour bc slay queens hurry up gaga tony bennett can wait (but not too long he is pretty old) we need new music queeen pls
never thought id take a bite out of five guys in one night ay
but if you get the chance one would highly recommend bcus they cook the fries in peanut oil so its kind of like peanut butter chips really but not really but just go there
we had another go at faceswapping which was slightly more successful
ok so we left and crossed the road and yeah birmingham is pretty cool but bitch you better watch out for the homicidal drivers Im not even kidding this bitch psychopath legit SPED UP when he saw char and I crossing the road (exponential acceleration) but tbf i reckon it was probably miss dyke lol
ok so we found the venue and idk what happened i think I was still recovering from eating more food in one evening than I've ever eaten since being a vegan interspersed with the trauma of this near death experience gradually which was gradually processing itself into one of my unconscious mind's many clinical clusters of repressed memories :} but I do remember a person saying to me 'you canae take that' alluding to my waters so in a panic state I tried to consume all that remained but they were watching me and I couldnt find where to dispose of it :(((((:((((( I wasnt prepared for such a premature parting as they directed me to the bin and as I dropped the bottle I felt just a little part of my soul trickle down my sleeve into the bin with it :() then I ran past the security I think I was supposed to be searched lol corporate espionage hello its me
then we descended into the place and it was so windy like legit I feared every second they were getting closer to locking us in and freezing our bodies for human experimentation but eventually the supporting act arrived and they were so good!!!! I think they were chosen bc if you like Oh Wonder Im pretty sure you'll like them
I loved his voice sorry I havent even said it yet the band was called Aquillo but only one guy sang and the other played the instruments and his falsetto was beaut bc it reached so high yet sustained the power throughout the range and he kind of reminded me of London Grammar + Oh Wonder interspersion bc he had the long haunting high notes like Hannah Reid from LG, but her voice is more gothic and lingers like a spectre consuming your soul, but he was still v v good although I kind of wanted them to leave bc buzzing for Oh Wonder
When they finally arrived I could see my gravestone saying 'here lieth rafadoodle the aspiring poodle who froze amid the midnight moon and also pls visit the blog and follow on the twitter'

Im so glad I was wearing my heels bc I wouldnt have been able to see bc of my struggle for height but Josephine was on our side (left) and Anthony was on the right which is the correct placement so it was good and they were so cute I literally had no idea but she's kinda like Carly Rae if she'd been born in London and he's really tall and boy he has a jawline for days (AHS HOTEL ALLUSION improvised by GaGa and framed the season)
They started off with Livewire and it was cray bc they legit sounded even better live I could feel the vibes pervading through my soul (unless it was the wind just slicing through my rib cages who knows) and they were just so cute and I didnt even recognise Lose it and Midnight Moon at first bc they totally recreated it and they concluded with Technicolour Beat and I've honestly never felt so many emotions all at once in my entire life legit
After they'd performed georgerai got me some more waters which I really needed I was in serious need of emotional rehydration <3 then we took snapshots and walked up to the balcony to photograph but they fuquen turned the lights off \|/ we queued for the merch and was saddened bc there was this really cute loose it jumper but it was gone by the time we queued :((( but there were some OW t shirts and georgerai asked me which one he should get and I summoned my fachon (looking gd & feeling fine)

Sorry it had to be done my fachon prowess cannot be restrained so recommended the black one with white 'OW' opposed to the white one with the explicit elaborated code 'o h w o n d e r' framed by tenuous black square, which the georgerai approved of bcus if you know, then you know. I thought Id buy one also and we both got sticker packs!! On the train home there was this guy who was so drunk I collapsed into a state of perpetual haws may as well just have signed up for a brothel tbh
then I got home and jumped straight into my oh wonder t shirt and fell unto my realm of dreams
I know a blog cannot capture the wonder of this day but I just wanted to conclude this by thanking the georgerai bc during the darkest days of my depression when I no longer wanted to exist I would remind myself the georgerai needs me on the 15th of march and also thank you charlotte bcus after three years of exchanging birthday tweets I finally met my catfish <3 which did not dissappoint bc Ive never met anyone who combines sass and class on point
but seriously though how cute are me and georgerai? :3
